6-2 Creating Environment Variables

You can specify the search destination for color profiles using environment variables.

Environment variable name: PTL80_ICCPROFILE_PATH
Value to set: Location path of icc file for color profile

On Windows, the icc file location folder in the installation folder is set as the default value during installation. For details, refer to "Chapter.3 Installation Instructions, 3-1-5 What the Installer Sets on Your System" in this manual.

This setting is required when handling color profiles without specifying them using commands on Linux.

Note:
Unlike the Windows version, the installer does not set environment variables on the Linux version. Instead, the installer places "run.sh" with installation destination information.
"run.sh" is a shell script that executes a Command-line application after setting environment variables with installation destination information. For details, see "10-1-4 Running on Linux Versions" in this manual.
